We are, quite simply, Christians who love this city and are called to serve her through the local church. We want to be, and lead others in becoming, followers of Jesus Christ, in the all sufficient grace of God through the local church, to the all supreme glory of God in all cultures, from St Augustine to those beyond.

The people of God are to be a blessing wherever they are found (Gen 12:2-3), and are called to seek the good of their city (Jeremiah 29:7).In this way, we desire to enjoy and embody the Gospel for the glory of God and the good of St. Augustine.

The gospel means freedom - freedom from who we are without God (rebellious sinners), to be who we are in Christ (children of God). It's freedom from fear, freedom from slavery to sin, freedom from self. As we grasp this, we are able to enjoy life in a way that only the gospel can deliver.

Part of that enjoyment is embodying it for others to see, hear, know and experience. We want to demonstrate the love, grace, mercy and power of Christ in word and deed in St. Augustine. We want others to know the God of grace and to begin to glimpse His glory in the face of Christ (II Corinthians 4:6).
