Dear Fellow believers,
On Friday, January 15 we have an opportunity to demonstrate our gratitude to the teachers and staff of Ketterlinus Elementary, for all the ways they accommodate our Sunday worship gatherings. We will, again, be preparing a breakfast for them as they begin their teacher workday. Last year they loved our Strada recipes, so let's revisit that! We need 10 volunteers for those casseroles. One or two should be meatless. Of course, if you have a favorite quiche recipe, please feel free to substitute! They need to be baked at home, and brought warm to the school cafeteria by 8 am that morning. We need 5-6 folks to bring fresh cut fruit: pineapple, strawberries, etc. We will need 5-6 folks available to help prepare the serving table, serve the teachers, and help clean up. (I also think it would be a nice gesture for everyone who can, to write a personal thank you note to the teachers, and offer to pray for them as they minister to the youth of our city. We can use these as part of the "centerpieces" and they can circulate them. I would even go so far as to leave your name and phone # on the card, so they could contact you if they have a specific prayer request!) Thanks for your help!
