We Envision a City ...

We envision a city where everyone has seen the transforming power of Jesus. We have come to know the love of God the Father in Jesus, and we want others to know his love as well.

This vision is so much bigger than us, because the gospel is so much bigger than us! But God has graciously called us into his mission of seeing people united to Jesus by extending gospel hope and wholeness in the Oldest City.

ONE CHURCH, MANY COMMUNITIES

We're following Jesus and his calling on us as one church family made up of many smaller communities.

COQUINA IS ONE CHURCH

We gather weekly to celebrate all God has done (historically, currently and biblically) and is doing in Jesus. Because of Jesus, we are the family of God, so think of it as a family reunion and a gathering of local missionaries.

We'd love to have you join us Sunday mornings at 10am at Ketterlinus Elementary. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Our sung worship is a unique sound grown organically from this body of believers. The music weaves us in and out of prayer.

  • We will use the Bible to make a bold request. We will labor collectively & corporately in prayer, asking God to work mightily.

  • We preach book by book through the Bible to teach the whole of Scripture, teaching from multiple voices.

  • We respond to the songs, prayers, and preaching of the day with communion, where some make a decision to follow Christ for the first time.

COQUINA IS MANY COMMUNITIES

Family isn't a once a week thing, so we gather throughout our city around meals, recreation, and shared mission. These communities are grown out of our everyday lives, where sacrificial service invites people to “taste and see that God is good.” In this way we live as family, deepening our relationships within our church, other local churches, and even with the church around the world. We believe that exploring ways to live out who we are in Christ by learning and serving together in Jesus’s mission of extending the hope and wholeness of the gospel will transformed the communities we live in.
